2015 In Review

December 23, 2015 by Nicole Medina

We truly hope everyone is having a healthy and safe holiday season.  The Healthcents team would like to reflect on a few of our favorite and most informative posts this year! We are working on some great things for 2016, so stay tuned!

1.  Our free white paper, available now at now charge: “Expert Advice: Managed Care Contracting and Reimbursement,” helped our clients with tips and information about payer contract negotiation.  It’s not too late to receive your copy by clicking the highlighted link!

2. Our webinar series presented by the CEO of Healthcents, Steve Selbst, “10 Keys to Unlocking Revenue Potential” covered several topics throughout the year, including “How Medical Device Companies Can Find and Contract With New Revenue Sources,” “How Medical Device Companies Can Increase Revenue Through Relationships,” and “How DME/Med device and O&P companies can quickly boost their bottom line” was one of our most popular and well-liked series. If you missed out on any of our topics this year, it’s not too late!  Click here to get the presentation.  Expect to see new subjects for this webinar series in 2016, and don’t miss out on an incredible learning experience!

3.  One of the biggest topics of conversation in 2015 was mergers, and the impact that they had on the entire landscape of healthcare. From hospitals buying out medical practices, and insurance companies taking over other insurance companies, the consolidation taking place in healthcare remained an important and impactful headline to consumers, payers, and providers alike.

4.  Of course, probably the biggest hot topic of the year for 2015 was ICD-10. The buildup and preparation for the change was surely stressful, but once October 1 came and went, it appeared that most practices handled the switch relatively smoothly.

We at Healthcents wish you and your families a very Happy Holiday Season and a Happy New Year.
