As a result of the Affordable Care Act, Medicare and many commercial insurers are focusing on what’s called the “triple aim:” a) better health outcomes; b) at lower cost; c) with happier patients.
Many payers are requiring data regarding clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction, and Medicare provides financial rewards to physicians who score well on “patient experience.”
This webinar will cover the new government-mandated patient satisfaction questionnaire, the Clinician-Group Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Professional Services (CG-CAHPS), used by large practices today and soon to be required for smaller practices. Further, attendees will learn which questions, when improved, are most predictive of high ratings on “overall satisfaction” and “willingness to recommend” the provider.
